作者简介
雷夫•艾斯奎斯（Rafe Espuith），1981年毕业于加州大学洛杉矶分校，现为美国洛杉矶市霍巴特小学的五年级教师。艾斯奎斯从教20多年，获得众多国内外大奖，其中包括美国“总统国家艺术奖”、1992年“全美最佳教师奖”、1997年美国著名亲子杂志《父母》杂志年度“成长奖”、美国媒体天后欧普拉的“善待生命奖”、并获英国女王颁发的不列颠帝国勋章（M.B.E）等。他把奖金捐给了所在学校和学生，并成立了“霍巴特莎士比亚”慈善基金。

评分更适用于学校教学，像作者花那么多时间和心思在孩子和教学方面比较难做到，但有付出也同样会有回报，有些话还是老生常谈，道理都懂却难做到，只是看时提醒下自己，那些知道但忘却的点，不要让学生对班级和读书产生恐惧，提升自己的技能开阔学生的眼界。
