具體描述
教師用書除在“導論”中詳述《新編英語語法教程（教師用書）（第5版）（修訂版）/新世紀高等院校英語專業本科生係列教材》的體係特徵外，主要包括兩大部分：英文講授提綱和練習參考答案。英文講授提綱是嚴格按照學生用書的章節順序編寫的，以便英語專業老師用英語備課和講課時作參考。練習參考答案，顧名思義，是參考性的，因為不少練習可有不同答案，而《新編英語語法教程（教師用書）（第5版）（修訂版）/新世紀高等院校英語專業本科生係列教材》隻給一種；還有一些練習的答案，雖然給瞭，但未說明其所以然，老師在講課時還須加以發揮，甚至還可展開討論。《新編英語語法教程（教師用書）（第5版）（修訂版）/新世紀高等院校英語專業本科生係列教材》既適閤我國高等學校英語專業本科生低年級的教學需要，其後半部也適閤英語專業本科生高年級的教學需要，過去近30年來的教學實踐證明，這本教材是雅俗共賞的。
