【作者介绍】
大卫·I.科泽（David I. Kertzer），美国艺术与科学学院院士，布朗大学社会科学小保罗·杜比（Paul Dupee, Jr.）校级教授、人类学系教授和意大利研究系教授，《现代意大利研究》合作创刊人及主编之一。曾任布朗大学教务长，美国社会科学史协会主席和美国欧洲人类学学会主席。主要研究领域为意大利政治历史、梵蒂冈研究、天主教会和犹太人。科泽曾两次凭借年度最佳意大利历史著作获美国历史学会意大利历史研究会马拉罗奖（Marraro Prize）。其所著《埃德加多·摩尔塔拉的绑架》入围1997年美国国家图书奖决选，并已被改编成电影；《反犹教宗》入围马克·林顿历史奖（Mark Lynton History Prize）决选。
