喜欢 Meno 的读者还喜欢

其实我看的不是这个版本，而是《Meno and Other Dialogues: Charmides, Laches, Lysis and Meno》,译者是Robin Waterfield，牛津大学出版社2005年版。但是因为只看了《Meno》,总不好意思说看了那一整本，所以挑了这一册标记。两版翻译不一样。因为追着看Knowledge和true belief的区分而来，但却在Meno's paradox上想了不少时间。对于Meno's paradox，这个网站有帮助：https://faculty.washington.edu/smcohen/320/menopar.htm

其实就是以“美德”为幌子阐述自己的认识论，顺便批了一通Anytus.读到最后等着你的答案，通过排除法，你的回答是‘virtue is given by god’ ----很天真，但是我又没法辩驳！“I fear that I must go away, but do you, now that you are persuaded yourself, persuade our friend Anytus. And do not let him be so exasperated; if you can conciliate him, you will have done good service to the Athenian people".柏拉图真的很爱他的老师。
