伟大的抒情叙事诗，古典时期的grande folie与elegance的力量很震撼。美与暴力，爱情与仇恨，亲情与背叛，矛盾迸发激情。金句不断，人马战役的描写是全书最好的战争描写。翻译有点迷，英文翻译届喜欢用非常现代的语言，但有点出戏。
评分但是读起来还是不乏有一点痛苦的。。Apollo和Daphne故事的写得太棒了。整体打造出了宏大并且富于神性的史诗感。和小学时候看的古希腊神话故大体情节类似，但是具体人物名字似乎不一样，细节也有不同之处。
