Jojo Moyes is a novelist and a journalist. She worked at the Independent for ten years before leaving to write full time. 从故事到写作都很简单的一本书，故事很直接，说流水账都不是不可以，因为简单朴实，所以奇怪地动人（不过一滴眼泪也没有掉），整体还是很治愈的。
