能够有 Generation Kill 的随军记者视角和 One Bullet Away 的参战军官视角对比参考实在件太难得。Wright 的 GK 对底层官兵有着全面细致的塑造和毫无保留的褒贬，Fick 的 OBA 则努力不透露出对上下级主观的评判；Wright 的文字在记录亲眼所见与讲解整体战略之间做到了极好的平...

我更喜欢原书名《杀戮的一代》。一开始，真的没有把握把这本400来页的书读完，因为对自己没有信心。读下来，虽然不能说欲罢不能，倒也引人入胜。尤其一些对于战争的残酷描写，因为作者用了一种云淡风轻的笔调，反倒让人心生震撼。加上作者本身并不是一名军人，相对于战...
