She spent two years in China working alongside Chinese doctors to treat hundreds of women with infertility. Her clinic has a 70 percent success rate.- This is the first book on this subject. Despite the number of books on infertility, there are none that utilize traditional Chinese medicine as an alternative or as a supplement to assisted reproductive technology.- A German study released in April 2002 showed that women who used a program of traditional Chinese medicine before IVF had a 50 percent greater chance of maintaining a pregnancy. Lewis' program can be followed on its own or in tandem with Western fertility procedures.
