A Christmas Carol is a Victorian morality tale of an old and bitter miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, who undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of one night. Charles John Huffam Dickens (7 February 1812 – 9 June 1870)was the foremost English novelist of the Victorian era, as well as a vigorous social campaigner. Considered one of the English language's greatest writers, he was acclaimed for his rich storytelling and memorable characters, and achieved massive worldwide popularity in his lifetime.

看的是原版书，单词不难，都能看明白，剧情并不复杂，而且有些神化，看到幽灵带他回到过去时，心里很是震颤，感受到内心最脆弱的部分，整部小说透露出人生哲理。看完后，才知道原来的大名鼎鼎的狄更斯的作品，果然是精品。
