光是“私家侦探”，就用了pinkerton，shamus，peeper等等至少五种词... 。high window没有the long goodbye那么妙语连珠，但是chandler用舌头写作的才华真的是太迷人了
评分目前看过奇特也最喜欢的钱德勒：大体下笔仍是马洛的尖刻，却让读者在一个配角身上瞥见温和的人文关怀的痕迹。

评分钱德勒的书写得真好，文笔精致、俏皮。对人物的刻画很细腻。情节倒不是那么重要。马洛探案的过程写得象探险一样跌宕起伏，这是作家的着力之处。第一次看到有人这样写侦探小说。
