This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the 4th International Workshop on Web and Wireless Geographical Information Systems, W2GIS 2004, held in Goyang, Korea in November 2004.
The 19 revised full papers presented went through two rounds of reviewing and improvement and were selected from initially 39 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections on Web GIS, mobile GIS and LBS, interoperability and security in W2GIS, indexing and query processing in W2GIS, map services for location-based services, and 3D GIS and telematics.
