Max Boot is one of America's leading military historians and foreign-policy analysts. The Jeane J. 没台湾那一帮人写的推荐语里吹捧得那么好，boot 的写作目的基本就是给人一个话题，免得那些大佬们再一次闹出80年代，秘密行动委员会的头头在一次听证会上说出：“孩子，你刚才说的这些，我一句都听不懂” 的丑闻。

几个错误： 1、任何一种战法只是技术，不决定战争双方的正义属性。 2、把战法与身份挂钩，低端血统论而已。 3、将选择战斗形式的对象的身份凌驾在战术属性之上，这种傲慢的低端错误，非蠢，即奸。 4、既非军事著作，也不是历史著作。 5、美式土鳖意识形态，纯没屁闲格楞嗓子。
