Sussex, England. A middle-aged man returns to his childhood home to attend a funeral. 第一次在overdrive上面借audiobook。三星半。四天听完开头结尾就还了，看了看本书wiki，发现剧情笔记冗长黑暗，庆幸自己的安排。作者很用心，能感觉真诚、intimate，但是男主太过被动懦弱，没有成长线也没有感情线…
评分太温柔的一本小书。尼尔盖曼怎么能记得那么多的事情。童年那么多恐惧，不应该随着年纪被一把又一把时间的土埋得严严实实吗。
评分虽以七岁孩子视角来写，不适合孩童。黑暗无幽默。惊悚瑰丽一如往常。
