Freud approved the overall editorial plan, specific renderings of key words and phrases, and the addition of valuable notes, from bibliographical and explanatory. Many of the translations were done by Strachey himself; the rest were prepared under his supervision. 藉助中譯本讀完，沒有想象中的晦澀。弗洛伊德的觀點其實很明確：宗教是人類的幻覺，源自因恐懼自然而將其擬人化，類似於嬰兒對父親的恐懼。對於宗教的未來，弗洛伊德認為宗教作為幻覺，類似人類成長過程中的神經癥，最終將被理性的科學取代，而這會調整人類社會的法律和規範，將人類從文明的束縛中解放齣來。

As a Psychology major, it would not be offensive for me to say that Freudian Psychoanalysis is obsolete as a clinical directive. Funny enough, I was assigned to read it for my theology class. This is a psychology equivalence of continental philosophy, and I don't say it to tarnish this book: this perspective helps me navigate this readingexperience
