這本書是這套叢書裏含金量非常高的一本，直接改變瞭我認為理論性通識讀本中Oxford遜色於Routledge的看法。這本書的作者有成為獨立理論傢的潛質，他的核心立場是：後現代主義是最好的解構者，也是最差的建構者。由於它自身含有諸多無法解決的矛盾，所以它的時代已經過去，它必將遭到下一代的質疑和針對於它的理論更新。

欣賞作者對後現代嚴厲的批判

喜歡寫藝術史的部分（還有大尺度圖片2333），畢竟哲學病患者一般想起post就隻是福柯德裏達，可以補課。後現代for and against本來應該是個重要的issue，可惜作者想三言兩語乾掉實在是太近乎黑屁瞭（即使我同情作者一部分判斷）

The best that one can say here, and Iam saying it, is that post modernists are good critical deconstructors, and terrible constructors.
