著者簡介

John Banville was born in Wexford, Ireland, in 1945. He is the author of more than ten novels, including The Book of Evidence, which was shortlisted for the Booker Prize and won the Guinness Peat Aviation Award. He won the Booker Prize for his novel The Sea in 2005. He lives in Dublin.

I finished it yestereve, feeling as if I had just waken up from a long slumber. Many a sentence in the book triggered my vivid imagination. Btw, the story itself is well-fabricated, revolving around homosexuality and espionage, esoteric beyond description. 恨不早讀班維爾，語言的畫麵錶現力超強，後半本幾乎是懷著迫切又不捨的心情讀完的，當然劍橋四傑這個題材本身也很有看點。。
