Factotum is a masterfully vivid evocation of slow-paced, low-life urbanity and alcoholism, and an excellent introduction to the fictional world of Charles Bukowski.

评分同样是自传性质的小说，个人觉得factotum比post office要好，他让我感受到一种更加自在的堕落，面对一个操蛋的世界，再反思自己的生活，就像作者说的，I felt guilty, but I felt no anger.主人公的女友评价他说，the others are only 10 percent there or twenty percent, you're all there, "all" of you is very there, it's so different.有些人似乎天生就注定是社会的loser,但他还是有资格在早上起床打一炮喝一杯之后来听几首Schubert或者Beethoven的钢琴曲。这个社会已经有太多的成功者了，就像一排排安静的自行车，我想过的有趣点
