作者的确把历史和现实放在了一起，但是只是在很少的情况下才真正让二者融合——去探究历史是如何影响了当下，后者怎样反映了前者的痕迹。更多的时候，书中的历史和现实和对未来的展望像是各说各话，这是共存（coexistence），但不是综合（integration）。

给三颗星：一星给引的文献算典型，一星给谢谢竖了个靶子，一星给129页的长度没有浪费彼此时间。不疼不痒复制粘贴一下唐代长安宋代开封珠三角的桑基鱼田就能算历史维度？罗列一下施坚雅的macroregion，流动人口，居民生活就算空间维度？总觉得怎么跟修城墙的耿市长特别般配………

记住了in-situ urbanisation 和boxes within boxes，但是感觉还是没把握为什么作者说自己的论述与grand narration不一样，也不是很清楚作者想表达的历史和现实的关系是怎样的。Nevertheless，内容还是很精炼很好抓，只是在今天看起来有的内容似乎不是什么新鲜事了
