took some patience to get used to the old style narrative, but was absolutely hooked by the chilling story, vivid description of the scenes. Funny that got a strong urge to communicate and comment on the men's behaviors while reading, was pathetic towards the women's sufferings.

首先这本书是在离开生活四个多月的台北前在二手书店买的，买完晚上骑着单车吹着风感觉很好，让它意义不同。其次，van helsing太啰嗦了！我以为结尾最关键的部分会写很长，结果最期待的只在最后几页。对于现代来的读者来讲，可能很难一整本书看完。

记得第一次看此书时，真是有够恐怖的，我一般不太喜欢看恐怖的作品。不过此书委实太有“名”了，是久经流行的吸血鬼作品的祖师，所以也就硬着头皮看下去了。前半部份很惊悚，后半部就没什么了。而此次阅读连恐怖感都没什么了。这与推理作品类似，在知道结局后再阅读之下吸引力...
