德雷剋‧賈曼（Derek Jarman 1942—1994），畫傢、詩人，電影導演，獨立製片人，同性戀權益活動傢，被公認為20世紀（1945年後）英國最重要的視覺藝術傢。賈曼的成長背景與他的同性戀意識形成鮮明的對立與衝突，他極具創造力及非凡的勇氣和毅力，尤其在發現自己身患艾滋病後，他變得更加率真和桀驁不遜。其創作領域非常寬泛，在三十餘年的創作生涯中，以繪畫與視覺藝術作品為主，包括油畫、拼貼藝術、錄像藝術、電影；立體設計方麵有裝置藝術、舞颱設計以及電影場景設計；文字創作方麵有電影劇本、與影片拍攝相關之日記、劄記與迴憶錄等。主要電影作品：《塞巴斯蒂安》、《慶典》、《卡拉瓦喬》、《英倫末日》、《戰爭安魂麯》、《花園》、《愛德華二世》、《維特根斯坦》、《藍色》等。
