David Mamet is a Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and an Academy Award-nominated screenwriter, as well as a director, novelist, poet, and essayist. He has written the screenplays for more than twenty films, includingHeist, Spartan, House of Games, The Spanish Prisoner, The Winslow Boy, Wag the Dog, and the Oscar-nominatedThe Verdict. 不喜歡劇中人物的說話方式，好像 Mamet 劇中的人物都是這樣交流的，強調，重復，打斷，不完整的句子，比較街頭。難以捉摸劇中人物的狀態，極少的舞颱提示，隻能靠演員自己琢磨劇本。我不太喜歡這種極依賴颱詞的劇，讀起來纍，看的時候也很纍，演員也纍。92年寫的，在今天的北美仍有其存在的必要。而在今天的中國，它顯得有些太超前瞭，畢竟我們那些涉嫌性騷擾的教授們還可以坐在他們的位置上讓人退學甚至自殺。

Mamet是我的老師非常推崇的一位劇作傢，但是我讀過oleanna之後並沒有感同身受老師的贊美……前半段是教授在長篇大論後半段是學生在長篇大論，但是很明顯學生似乎被“group”洗腦瞭。劇本裏經常齣現的對話被打斷也很不好閱讀，仿佛這兩個人根本無法相互理解。在主題上非常贊同前一位友鄰的評論，政治正確矯枉過正現在並不適用於中國，而且Mamet有抹黑女權主義的嫌疑????

"You vicious little bitch. You think you can come in here with your political correctness and destroy my life?" 腦海裏久久地縈繞著紀蔚然的“請問閣下PC乎？”錶麵上是柏格森所謂的倒置，其實是政治正確挾其道德優越感壓製瞭意見、思想的自由錶述。
