线索清晰明了，非常适合初学者如我……不过其浅显易懂的用词并不妨碍对于具体人与建筑的深入洞见的表达

历史愈加生动起来。看得见自己的进步，一点点的，很慢，但很安心，知道自己在那里。应该也会常读常新。

看了各种现当代建筑史的书，benevolo, Frampton的。还是这本最简单明了适合应付建筑史考前突击。

有观点 而且写的比较准确 虽然是史书 但谈的基本是设计思想 所以读起来比较带劲 反正弗兰普顿和塔夫里这辈子估计都没法读了 这本书正好填补空白

如果说大多数书可以用来作“碎片式”阅读，增加一点知识或趣味的话，这本显然不是。用约250页的篇幅要厘清现代建筑运动的历程，而且作为“Oxford History of Art”系列中的一种，必须浅显（事实上并不浅）易读，这样的难度大概由Alan Colquhoun来完成最合适不过了。 尽管定位...
