Harper Lee was born in 1926 in Monroeville, Alabama, a village that is still her home. She attended local schools and the University of Alabama. Before she started writing, she lived and worked in NEw York in the reservations department of an international airline. She has been awarded the Pulitzer prize, two honorary degrees and various other literary and library awards. Her chief interests apart from writing are nineteenth-century literature and eighteenth-century music, watching politicians and cats, travelling and being alone.

这是美国学生大概相当于初中时期所要阅读的作品。说实话，对我来说还有点难度，因为书中有大量的非书面词汇，许多词汇还有美国南方的色彩。好歹是读完了，顺便也把电影给看了。电影大体上是忠于原著的，只是电影中的Atticus粗壮高大，这与书中那个衰老瘦削甚至有点虚弱，但是浑...

第五本原版朋友推薦的一本原版，之前早就聽說是法律界的經典，所以毫不猶豫的在亞馬孫下單。要承認這是我看完的原版書裏難度最高的。最影響我讀書體驗的還是那些人名和地名。看到英文名字就會經常亂並且沒有畫麵感。這樣就不能邊讀邊像放電影一樣想象著印象更深。在勉強讀完第七章後找來瞭翻譯版順理瞭人物關係和地名纔繼續讀。應該是英文水平製約閱讀體驗，唯有兩段法庭辯護給我留下深刻印象，其它並無太大波瀾。
