著者簡介
Hugh Honour 修・昂納 當代著名的藝術史學者，畢業於劍橋聖凱薩琳學院（St Catherine's College），他是英國皇傢文學院和大不列顛學院院士。著有：《中國印象》（The Vistion of Cathay，1961年）；《威尼斯指南》（The COmpanion Guide to Venice，1965年；1990年，第三版）；《新古典主義》（Neo-classism，1968年，第二版，1977年）；《浪漫主義》（Romantism，1979年）。他於1976年為華盛頓的國傢美術館和剋夫蘭美術館等備美國建國兩百周年展；《歐洲眼中的美國》（The European Vision of America）。他的著作《西方藝術史中的黑人形象：從美國獨立革命到第一次世界大戰》（The Image of the Black in Western Art，From the American Revolution to World War I），贏得“安斯費爾德―沃爾夫書奬”種族關係的頭奬。他與尼可勞斯・佩費斯納（Nicolaus Pevsner），以及約翰・弗萊明閤著《企鵝版建築和風景建築辭典》（The Penguin DIctionary of Architecture and Landscape Architecture，1966年；第五版1998年）。現居住於意大利盧卡（Lucca）。 John Fleming 約翰・弗萊明 畢業於劍橋三一學院（Trinity College）。1961年在愛丁堡和羅馬齣版瞭《羅伯・亞當及其圈子》（Robert Adam and his Circle），此作並獲得“班尼斯特・傅雷撤奬”（Bannister Fletcher Prize）和“艾莉斯・戴維斯・希區考剋奬章”（Alice Devis Hitchcock Medal）。他與尼可勞斯・佩弗斯納（Nicolaus Pevsner）以及修・昂納閤著《企鵝版建築和風景建築辭典》（The Penguin Dictionary of Archite and Landscape Architecture，1966年；第五版，1998年）。與修・昂納閤《企鵝版裝飾藝術辭典》（The Penguin Dictionary of Decorative Arts，1977年；1989年再版），以及《享利・詹姆士、惠斯勒以及沙金特時代的威尼斯》（The Venetian HOurs of Henry James，Whistler，and Sargent，1991年）。他是大不列顛學院院士，於2001年5月29日逝世。 範迪安 中央美術學院美術博士，現任中央美術學院副院長兼研究部主任，著名美術評論傢。曾組織多種當代藝術展覽，發錶大量二十世紀中國當代美術評論，多次擔任全國建築畫評選委員，副主任委員。
