講的就是一個數據結構。

上學的時候因為做項目用到lucene讀過一邊，好幾年過去瞭，現在做項目又用到lucene，發現基本還是隻有這本參考書，溫故知新，很不錯的一本書。

做Lucene也只有这本书能参考了，没啥选择。还不错，全面，重要的细节也讲了，做Lucene必备参考书。

抛去翻译的问题，还是一本不错的lucene入门读物。最少可以让读者知道怎么简单的使用Lucene，进行简单的性能调整。不过现在lucuen已经扩展出太多的应用，无论是中文分词，文件系统调整或者动态的及时索引更新等问题都是没有讨论。当然作者是老外人家不分词，这个我忘记了。有兴...

书写得挺好，全面介绍了Lucene这个非常流行的java全文搜索引擎的框架。英文不难，条理清晰，读起来挺有味道。遗憾的是示例的API过时了。例如现在Lucene3.0 中的 Field的创建方式与本书中所说的相差很大；IndexWriter的构造函数也有变化。相信还有其他deprecated 的地方...

开源的IR系统中lucene是做得最好最有名，本书详细介绍了重要的模块。但是我最喜欢的是最后的例子：LinkedIn，SIREn他们所使用的技术和实现方法。在一个更高层次的观榄全局，真的让我学到了很多东西。
