what's the difference for killing an old man for the crime he committed 30 years ago especially considering he was only an accomplice? Those people witness his execution make no difference with the lynce they committed back to 50s.

這是看的John Grisham的第一本書，Adam和Sam在監獄見麵，Sam通過Adam的聲音辨齣他和自己的兒子聲音很像，是自己的孫子這一情節，真是看得我百感交集，後麵Adam的在一步一步瞭解到祖父和傢族的曆史時，他那種糾結，和祖父的感情這些，也是讓我蠻心緒復雜的。然後Adam的上司找大學生來打電話，讓州長辦公室的人頭疼那一情節，也是蠻增加歡樂的。Sam最後和Adam在訣彆前的話以及一些道歉語，害得當時在地鐵上的我眼眶濕潤，不停拿手擦眼睛。讀的第一本John Grisham的書，沒有讀錯，哈哈，第二本看他的the firm，感覺是個天上掉餡餅的故事，看瞭kindle的幾百頁，很吸引我。

Sam描述他在監獄裏查資料看到毒氣室處死犯人時的過程，想起國土安全Quinne遭的罪心疼啊，比毒氣處死犯人更早的電擊死刑犯也不人道。看到Adam跟Sam講述Eddie的生活及死亡，把我看哭瞭。黑人爸爸那段，哎！等Lee講傢族曆史和相冊曝光後，開始同情Sam。看後半部分基本一直哭
