According to journalist Mark Simpson, the metrosexual "might be officially gay, straight or bisexual, but this is utterly immaterial because he has clearly taken himself as his own love object." Michael Flocker has lived at various times amid the bright lights of Berlin, the fabulous chaos of New York and the hazy dream that is Los Angeles. His colorful career path has ushered him in and out of the worlds of fashion, film, television and travel writing.
