深刻不失生動，囫圇吞棗總算讀完，擬讀相應作傢的作品，再重讀。
评分書不錯，就是逼格太高…忘記英國人有modesty的錶達習慣，所以看書名以為這是一本入門書，絕對是進階版，推薦至少讀過30本以上英國作傢著作的朋友…

评分很好的經典導讀，語言文雅幽默卻不晦澀。雖然伊格爾頓並沒從Harold Bloom所重視的strangeness的角度勾勒這十八位英國經典小說傢，但卻指齣瞭每位小說傢寫作的defining feature。讀之前最好把相關作傢的作品讀完，伊格爾頓在文本細讀時對sensibility要求頗高,幾乎沒有很幼稚的plot summary。
