John le Carré, the pseudonym of David John Moore Cornwell (born 19 October 1931 in Poole, Dorset, England), is an English author of espionage novels. Le Carré has resided in St Buryan, Cornwall, Great Britain, for more than 40 years, where he owns a mile of cliff close to Land's End.

评分想来，喜欢勒卡雷的和不爱的当属两级，会觉得他枯燥的和会为之动容的都有其道理。但静下心来，毕竟是会觉得他文字的好，感动一丝丝的聚积，在那微波荡漾的行文里。倒数第二章几乎是大爆发似得男女主人工的互诘，关于间谍这一档的锥心刺骨之寒。

用这本入门约翰勒卡勒会是不错的选择，节奏和故事都精彩。相比而言，大名鼎鼎的“史迈利三部曲”带入感太慢,尤其是TTSS写了一百页只记住了伦敦的雨，《荣誉学生》是被低估的大作，《史迈利的人马》平庸很多但是最有阅读愉快感。

评分a spy story that had it all: drab beginning, clueless middle (well, it counts one fifth of the novel), siezing upturning till the end, morals (religion, its comtemporary spat with Communism, love and life). better than i expected. But the one thing I couldn't get out of my head comes not from the book, but from the worker from <work>, oh, you know.
