康拉德真神人，写人的内心挣扎写的太好了。我以前怎么能不怎么好好读文学？？

authur's intention前半段感觉藏得挺深，到后面爆的一发不可收拾，重点体现就在winnie上 - 可怕，过火。另外我要是没读错，作者应该是反futurism的吧？

也就是康拉德了，能把公务员生活写出史诗的感觉来。Verloc某种程度上其实是另一个Lord Jim,一个被现代生活卷入但是成不了现代人的旧时代生物。

It's ironic because it suppose to be serious but it's anything but serious. The absurdity and uselessness of the revolutionists, futility of political conspiracy. Conrad's works are not like Orwell, whose works are very clear-cut and readers can immediately...
