也就是康拉德了，能把公务员生活写出史诗的感觉来。Verloc某种程度上其实是另一个Lord Jim,一个被现代生活卷入但是成不了现代人的旧时代生物。

It's ironic because it suppose to be serious but it's anything but serious. The absurdity and uselessness of the revolutionists, futility of political conspiracy. Conrad's works are not like Orwell, whose works are very clear-cut and readers can immediately...
