The Story Pauses a Little
评分三星半。小说题目改成<Hetty>可能更为妥当。人物性格刻画实在有点苍白和单一。很模糊，第一本小说，也是正常。基督徒的思想和传教意义是小说的重点，而不是情节，就目前来看的话。
评分人物刻画太过单一 教条意味太重 结尾完全是作者本人的意淫 俩人总共就讲过两次话吧然后就皆大欢喜的结婚了呵呵 很讨厌书中男性角色对女性角色patronizing的态度 男主和男配对女主讲起情话来的模样让我想起易卜生的玩偶之家 为什么每一个人都这么 蠢【。
评分伊的第一本长篇。Mrs. Poyser萌我一脸血。可惜有我雷点。。。
评分George Elliot的第一部长篇小说。总觉得以男性笔名来写作的Elliot仍然在不自觉中蒙上男权的话语。不过love triumphs的经典主题依旧让人充满生的希望。
