一年前得知SimpleCV，还以为是OpenCV的另起炉灶之做，而且是用Python写的，Python难道已经快到可以做图像和视觉级别的算法了？最近做一个图像分割和识别方面的东西，需要快速做些小实验，自然想到了Python和SimpleCV，仔细一看才得知SimpleCV是一个Framework，底层依赖的仍然是OpenCV（主要是算法实现），还依赖很多其它第三方库（比如iPython，SDL，PyGame，PIL，Numpy，Scipy）。因为这两天一直在参考SimpleCV的API，之前也过了一下它的Tutorial，大概熟悉了其使用。此书是API文档的完整版本（增加了什么例子），入门的话，从Python和SimpleCV开始计算机视觉之旅还是挺不错的！

看过部分Digital Image Processing，然后再读这本书发现容易好多。接下来应该是读SimpleCV的源码了。
