评分内容挺广泛的，介绍了复杂性存在的各种领域，生物、计算机、网络科学等等。有一点不满意的地方是作者刻意追求科普性，书中很多能够用简单公式描述的地方都被描述性语言代替了。的确，这样不会冒着用公式吓退读者的危险，但是作者也体会不到数学的简洁性了。
