內容提要

本書根據成人高教大專英語教學大綱的要求編寫而成，供成人高教大專

教學第二學期使用。

全書共有12篇課文，每篇課文包含詞匯、注釋、語法、練習、對話等多項

內容。課文中所列的生詞和詞匯不包括初中階段學過的那些部分，但另外增

設瞭詞語學習。注釋內容大多為課文中的語言難點、短語或例句用法。語法

項目以分散講解的方式，針對成人教育的特點，係統地進行復習，著重加強英

語基礎語法的訓練。練習包含多種類型，諸如迴答問題、詞語訓練、英漢互

譯、完形填空、閱讀理解等等。對話以日常生活用語最基本的內容為主，旨在

幫助學生掌握常用會話技能。此外，編者還在第6課和第12課後配有復習

性測試練習。書末附加瞭12篇與課文相呼應的補充閱讀材料，供教學選用。

本書具有語言規範、內容生動、體裁新穎之特點，集趣味性、實用性和知

識性為一體，是一本既適閤成人英語教學，又適應英語愛好者自學的通俗教

材。
