评分John Green隻寫YA，我相信他可以寫Adult fiction，但是他相信YA的教育作用。他的粉絲叫做nerd fighters，他很清楚他的受眾是哪些人，這點在這本書的遣詞造句裏很能看得齣來，完全是在討好那些覺得nerd很酷，brainy is the new sexy的孩子們。我最初很反感這種寫法。可讀完後發現Green對生死的解讀很深刻，有些時候甚至很驚人。他在寫這些段落的時候纔是發揮齣瞭完全的水平。
