《潮汕文化精神》内容简介：五岭以南，素称岭南，岭南文化即岭南地区的人民千百年来形成的具有鲜明特色和绵长传统的地域文化，是中华文化的重要组成部分。
为了响应广东省委、省政府建设文化大省的号召，总结岭南文化的优良传统，促进岭南文化研究和传播的繁荣，在广东省委宣传部的指导和大力支持下，暨南大学出版社组织省内高等院校和科研机构的专家学者编写了这套《岭南文化书系》。
《潮汕文化精神》(作者陈晓东、适庐)是“岭南文化书系”系列之“潮汕文化丛书”中的一册，分为上善若水的生存智慧；利义并重的价值取向等六章内容。

后面一堆像政治课的东西没看下去。
评分潮汕文化。生为潮汕人看的时候很骄傲。
评分两星半，50分，不及格但不算很差。许多观点都没有论述，或者论述逻辑一团浆糊；但毕竟整理了不少资料，还是值得翻看翻看。第三章第三节最后一段，明明在论述潮人规避政策的偏好，结尾却硬生生引了几段“听党的话，跟政府走，否则你的企业根本没办法发展”之类的听话典范…为此减半星。

评分内容一般，涨了一点点知识，不过感觉作者对潮汕文化的体会不是特别深刻，有些论断显得牵强，作者的批判褒贬的点也不是很能令人信服，随便翻翻就算咯。
