著者簡介
維特根斯坦(1889～1951年)，英國哲學傢。數理邏輯學傢。分析哲學的創始人之一。曾在劍橋大學從學於B.羅素。1929年獲哲學博士學位．次年成為三一學院研究員。1939年繼承G.E.摩爾在劍橋的教授職位。1947年辭去教授職務，在愛爾蘭鄉村專門從事哲學研究。
維特根斯坦的哲學思想可分為前期和後期，前期為邏輯分析哲學、核心是圖式說：後期以語言遊戲說代替圖式說。以語言分析代替瞭邏輯分析，以日常語言代替瞭理想語言。他這一時期的哲學對日常語言哲學和科學哲學中的曆史主義有較大影響。
