讲述的拍摄思路很有用，最喜欢看这种有清晰思路的摄影书，而且也有相同题材，不同布局光影的对比。拍摄风格也非常喜欢。读过就对美食摄影基本就入门了，就差实际尝试了。原版比翻译版纸质适合阅读，而且翻译版颇多疏漏，图片顺序问题色差问题蛮严重。

作者是位非常擅长用自然光拍摄的美食摄影师，写作态度也非常诚恳，前面的部分讲的比较基础，相机的选择和设置，不同光线的效果，后面针对不同的食物详细讲解了自己的拍摄技巧，不过本书给我最大的启示不是作者的拍摄技巧，而是作者在字里行间充满了对拍摄的热爱，乐此不疲地去...

我看的是英文版的，标题和中文翻译完全不一样嘛，plate to pixel,就是食物数码摄影的意思。这本书给的摄影方法是非常教科书式的，就是you cannot go wrong with it，入门还不错，之后提高，还是得看自己，毕竟这是门艺术，在诗外的功夫比较多

忘了从哪里看来的一个所谓的技巧，说是美食图片，尤其是餐馆菜谱上的美食图片，多半是在食物尚未煮熟的情况下拍摄的，这样，就可以保持食物的新鲜状态。一误数年。害得我每每在点菜时还要装13——可恨的是，我那帮狐朋狗友在我大放厥词之际竟然还不点醒我。真是丢人丢到爪哇...
