西方现代奇幻小说大多砖头厚度好几本，也是我的最爱，史诗英雄故事。相比下《第一律法》卷一进展的似乎太快了；采取了冰火的POV写法，不足的是跳跃略快，每篇大概几页。还好故事不太复杂，读者马不停蹄地在各位角色间转换也不用太费脑细胞。心理描述、细节描写也欠缺。于是卷一...

3.5星。POV。缺點是敘事推進的節奏時快時慢，優點是人物塑造不同尋常，尤其是隨時隨地內心彈幕吐槽的Glokta形象飽滿，破碎的心，殘虐的行徑，卻不讓人生厭。野蠻人一行著墨不多，也很齣彩。 情節上，除瞭走進the house of the maker那一章，隱約有種置身於黑魂世界的神秘感和史詩感，其他橋段都乏善可陳，隻挖坑不填坑。期待後續能有驚喜。 設定上，Union腐敗得太過兒戲,是我最不滿的點。最可惜的就是這樣的硬傷，直接限製瞭作品的上限。

评分有冰與火的神韻，但這一部的故事比較平淡，戰爭正式打響前的眾生相，所有支綫人物匯集在瞭一起準備踏上旅途。下一部貌似是說探險途中的事情？貌似西方魔幻小說很愛講探險故事，無論是魔戒，還是時光之輪，或是冰火中艾莉亞的探險。 暫時沒有特彆喜歡的人物，所以整個閱讀體驗就是冷眼旁觀，不在意其中任何人的未來發展，隻能說Jezal的篇章讀得更舒服一些，至少有一個比較明晰的主綫，也有角色成長，也有愛情。 POV的寫法比較有沉浸感，但也避免不瞭描寫冗餘之感，太關注於細微動作的刻畫，大段的心理描寫、景物描寫，不排除湊字數之嫌。總的來說適閤一次讀一點，慢慢品，不能一下讀好幾章，那就受不瞭瞭。
评分三部麯中的第一部，整本都是為瞭後麵進行鋪墊與伏筆，主綫輪廓還不清晰但已經能感覺到something big is looming over them. 的確像封麵說的delightfully twisted，但還沒感受到evil的部分。2019.01.06—2019.01.24
评分在冰與火之歌的陰影下，看起彆的書來總是少瞭些味道。
