Winer of the Hugo and Nebula Awards In order to develop a secure defense against a hostile alien race's next attack, government agencies breed child geniuses and train them as soldiers. A brilliant young boy, Andrew "Ender" Wiggin lives with his kind but distant parents, his sadistic brother Peter, and the person he loves more than anyone else, his sister Valentine. Peter and Valentine were candidates for the soldier-training program but didn't make the cut--young Ender is the Wiggin drafted to the orbiting Battle School for rigorous military training. 世人总是羡慕天才，但是却不了解天才成长中所经历的挫折远比一般人要多。 三条故事线，宏大的世界观，以及最后虫族茧留下的迷团...... 看到书中，Ender 在指挥Mazer给的第一场战斗的时候， Petra的一句 Salaan，热血顿时就燃了，算是幼年Ender人生中最大的一次幸福之一吧。

评分我实在是觉得这个故事蠢到爆啊。前90%：披着SF外皮的杰克苏流水账，实在无趣，完全是当作第二语言材料在读。接下来的the third invasion确实震撼，但也是唯一亮点。最后根本就是瞎扯淡了，为了变成爱与宽恕的故事的努力尝试真是天真又傻得可爱。教科书口吻的低幼向作品，真是好奇电影可以拍成怎样。
