Leonardo is the greatest, most multi-faceted and most mysterious of all Renaissance artists, but extraordinarily, considering his enormous reputation, this is the first full-length biography in English for several decades. 评分隔了几年重新看，感觉就像看一本新书。作者写得很好，但他也无法解答很多公认的疑问，甚至在一些章节里，我想他的推测已经有些远了。 翻译还算不错，但有些译名没有统一，特别是插图图注里。
