评分有獨特見解的法國文學史，詳細地梳理瞭法國文學中protagonist形象的流變，很好地串起瞭各種曆史和思想背景。根據作者的思路，有一批本來我不太重視的作傢在這裏得到瞭重新評價，比如senghor、bonnefoy、perse等等。對更廣闊的francophone literature的研究也是一個值得重視的方嚮。
评分整體上來說是大傢大作式寫法，與國內文學史寫法很類似。
