Favourite Ballard so far!!! An atypical novel about a typical class struggle. Favourite character (out of the three protagonists) is Wilder - his metamorphosis is so fluid yet so absolutely daunting. Laing, the 'only sane person' who eventually succumbs to his own perversions and enjoys the high rise the most out of all two thousand people.
