因為是大學考試科目，當時讀的是拉丁版本的，古羅馬曆史學傢塔西陀的著作。第二部《日耳曼日誌》介紹瞭與古羅馬帝國接壤的那些日耳曼人的民族特性，宗教信仰，生活習慣，婚姻製度，政治組織形式等等。具有極高的史學價值。
评分Note比原文還長，譯的文采飛揚，換句話說很是裝逼，你乾脆譯成古英語算瞭！看完再也不愛Tacitus瞭！！！！我對Domitian的愛滔滔不絕好麼！！！！這輩子不想再讀Tacitus...........
