在Norton美國文學選集裏看的。第一人稱敘述，有點意識流，真實反映瞭19至20世紀美國知識女性的生活狀況和她們想要掙脫男權束縛的呼聲。作者應該算是女性主義的先驅瞭，比伍爾夫還要早一點。

這書有三十頁？我怎麼隻看到十八頁……瘋狂的自敘，太瘋狂瞭，偏執妄想被害強迫癥……又或者隻有本人纔是清醒的。各位的詭異眼神，散發怪味的牆紙，絕對的占有欲，還有最後幾頁不斷齣現的creep，哦，第一次讀英文書讀到毛骨悚然。

This is a story about women rights during 19th century. When I first read this book, I feel bored, because I didn't understand what she's trying to say. After I read it over again. I start to get the central meaning of the book. I think this is a great book...
