路易·迪蒙（1911—1998），是战后法国人类学界的代表人物，马塞尔·莫斯最有成就的弟子之一。他在人类学的理论和方法上都做出了非常重要的贡献：在理论上，他修正并深化了列维-斯特劳斯的结构主义，使结构主义从语言学的仆人回归到民族志的事实，从而复兴了社会学年鉴派的基本主张。在方法上，他结合了田野民族志和意识形态研究，落实了莫斯提出的“总体社会事实”原则。
