《视听说教程6(教师手册)》主要内容：“新世纪大学英语系列教材”是我国普通高等教育“十一五”国家级规划教材，是根据教育部高等教育司颁发的《大学英语课程教学要求》编写的。《视听说教程》是系列教材中的一个分册，配合《综合教程》和系列教材中的其他教程，引导学习者实现《大学英语课程教学要求》所规定的教学目标。本《视听说教程(教师手册)》为第六册，是《视听说教程》前五册的后续课程。本教材配合主干教材《综合教程》使用，全书共八个单元，每单元上课两周。主干教材每单元一个题材，《视听说教程》尽力做到在题材上配合《综合教程》，所选题材都是学生所熟悉的，使学生能感觉到所学的语言贴近自己的学习和生活，有现实感和现代感，能满足当前的和未来的交际需要，因此能够引起学生的学习兴趣。
