Lost Highway is the memoir of Sapper Reeves, a World War II veteran and talented country musician from the small town of Maxwell, WV. The story covers the events of over half a century, from his birth in a poor, coal-mining town through his travels among the back roads of Appalachia in search of recognition and respect. Along the way he experience the birth of a son and a love affair that spans the course of his adulthood.
