Starting in the mid-1960s, Shelby teamed with Ford to create very special versions of the Mustang that also used the Shelby Cobra name. These cars included the famed Shelby GT 350-H rent-a-racer made in limited numbers for Hertz. In recent years, after producing his own modern version of the original Shelby-Cobra, Carroll revived his association with Ford and helped them create the "Shelby" version of the current retro-styled Mustang which is making headlines in car magazines today.Carroll has worked with leading automobile manufacturers to put some of the most amazing vehicles on the road. The Cobra, Series 1, Viper, Shelby Mustangs, and Ford GT are all symbols of how he has pushed, and continues to push, the envelope of performance.
