选择读这本书完全是因为当时刚读完菲茨杰拉德的《清晨起床号》。去年我也这么干了一次，首轮我选的是《大亨小传》和《流动的盛宴》，这种把菲茨杰拉德和海明威放在一起阅读的做法颇有些田忌赛马的恶趣味。（同理，我打算以后看马尔克斯时更不厚道地把略萨捎上） 第一回合的比分...

最早知道有尼克·亚当斯这么个人是初中时，某个夜晚看完《老人与海》，惊讶地发现那本书还有几十页独立成章。间隔的一页写着“尼克·亚当斯故事集”，再往后翻就是《印第安人营地》、《杀人者》、《最后一片清净地》、《大双心河》等等，具体哪些记不太清，这几篇印象很深。 ...
